GIVING BACK OVER COFFEE: FREE COFFEE DAY AT 80VC PALLIATIVE CARE SOUTH EAST
GIVING BACK OVER COFFEE: FREE COFFEE DAY AT 80VC PALLIATIVE CARE SOUTH EAST

At First National Real Estate Neilson Partners, our motto is We Put You First, and that means giving back to the local communities we’re proud to call home.

On 16 May 2025, our team had the honour of hosting our second Free Coffee Day at the popular 80VC Café in Narre Warren, with one heartfelt mission: to support Palliative Care South East (PCSE) and the incredible services they provide to people facing life-limiting illnesses.

What Was Free Coffee Day All About?

The idea was simple, enjoy a free barista-made coffee on us when you purchased food from 80VC Café. It was our way of thanking the community for their ongoing support, while shining a light on a charity that’s quietly making a massive impact across Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong and Kingston.

Even better, every single dollar spent at 80VC Café goes directly to PCSE. That means 100% of profits on the day helped fund vital, in-home palliative care services in our local area.

The Results: More Than Just Coffee

Thanks to the outstanding support from our community, Palliative Care South East saw a 71% increase in daily café sales during the event.

“Thanks to your incredible support, we experienced a 71% increase in daily sales,” said Rochelle Dullard, Community Engagement Team Leader at PCSE.

“This boost in funding will help us provide specialised training, enhance care quality, and close critical support gaps, especially within aged care settings, ensuring we can continue to make moments matter, where they matter.”

Why PCSE Matters

Palliative Care South East is a not-for-profit organisation delivering specialist, in-home palliative care services. Their multidisciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, social workers, counsellors, and volunteers, all working together to offer compassionate, person-centred support.

But their care goes beyond the clinical. PCSE also provides:

  • Music and art therapy

  • Early intervention clinics

  • The “Sharing My Story” biography program

  • Weavers carer mentoring program

  • Bereavement support for families

  • And their new Community Hub, which connects locals with valuable resources in a safe, welcoming environment

Community Support in Action

At Neilson Partners, we see every day how small acts of kindness can spark real change. Hosting a Free Coffee Day was just one of the many ways our team gives back, because building strong communities is at the heart of what we do and have done for over 100 years in the local real estate industry.

Whether you grabbed a coffee, shared the event online, or simply stopped by to say hello, your support helped turn a simple idea into something truly meaningful.

And remember, you don’t have to wait for the next Free Coffee Day to make a difference. The next time you're on the hunt for your morning coffee, just visit 80VC Café in Narre Warren, say hi to George and the team, and enjoy a great coffee knowing your purchase supports PCSE’s life-changing work.

Supporting your community never tasted so good.
